Annapath is a newly formed, privately owned Surgical Pathology and Cytopathology laboratory located in Annapolis, Maryland. The laboratory was created to provide complete:

           GI, GYN and GU Histology Services

           Gynecologic Cytology

           Non-GYN Cytology

          Technical pathology services for pathologists / dermatopathologists

          Physician-owned pathology lab design, implementation and management

Annapath will work with your office to provide timely pickup of your specimens to ensure rapid delivery and processing at our facility as well as adequate laboratory supplies and requisitions. Our integrated computer system allows physicians password-protected access to laboratory results.  In addition, our system can usually be adapted to interface with electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Annapath is inspected and  licensed by the State of Maryland and CMS and uses FDA approved equipment and procedures to ensure the accuracy of laboratory results.  Any non-FDA approved tests are carefully validated by the laboratory staff to ensure excellent correlation with FDA approved and validated methods.

Annapath realizes every specimen is important to both the clinician and the patient. We strive to provide accurate, complete and prompt service as well as easy accessibility to results for our clients.
